Peter Tanchak

Mr. Tanchak is currently a project development engineer at Enbridge Pipelines Inc. in their Major Projects team.  He is broadly covering all things energy transition with a primary focus on hydrogen, carbon capture and sequestration, and ammonia.  In prior years, Peter worked on the oil sands assets within Enbridge with an engineering operation focus, while prior to that was at WorleyParsons where he gained exposure to front end design planning stages of major North American pipeline projects.  Over the course of his 15 year career, Peter has been involved in many not for profit organizations, including founding the Young Pipeliners Association of Canada (YPAC), the International Pipeline Conference, Banff Pipeline Workshop, and ASME Pipeline Systems Division.

When not working Peter enjoys following the latest headlines in the energy business all while trying to be a present father with his two daughters and wife.  If there’s spare time post that he attempts to play hockey or golf.
